BED & BREAKFAST OPERATORS

Specifically written policy for the B & B and Farmstay market (not a gilded householders policy).

Provides insurance cover for:

  • Buildings, including out buildings and gazebos ( including those with national trust and other heritage listings );
  • Contents including owners personal property, works of art plus loss or damage to guests' property, ( including theft and malicious damage by guests);
  • Machinery breakdown, etc plus Business Interruption to cover ongoing fixed costs during a loss of business access; and
  • Public & Products Liability with generous extension to provide cover for activities which may be offered such as weddings in the grounds, attached cafes, walking and fishing trips, horse riding and bicycle hire.

BUDGET ACCOMMODATION

Developed for boutique hotels, budget motels, cabins and hostels and for dormitory style accommodation including for backpackers, fruit pickers and students.

Provides a similar set of insurance covers to the B & B package, including public liability extensions for hire of non-motorised sporting equipment, small gymnasium, guest pick up and transfers.

TOURISM OPERATORS PUBLIC LIABILITY & MARINE HULL

A broad based public and products ( food and drink ) liability policy for most tourism operators including outbound operators and those inbound operators with an Australian permanent base.

Extending to off boat activities such as snorkeling, swimming and land based activities it is ideal for the broad marine tourism industry, from hire of boats and canoes to charter fishing boats, sea kayaking, para-sailing, amphibious vessels, jet ski hire and tours, windsurfing, etc. There is also a marine hull cover available for this tourism sector with generous additional covers, for hulls up to 20 metres.

This policy provides cover for most of the vast variety of Australian tourism activities including gold prospecting tours, bushwalking and camping, hunting safaris, 4WD tours and tag-along tours, motorcycle tours, coach and walking tours, themed parks, zoos, markets and farm stay activities.

The policy includes Supplementary Legal Expenses, for issues such as staff related claims and also Statutory Liability cover for unintended breaches of legislation.

This policy is also directed specifically at Indigenous Tourism Operators and includes boomerang and spear throwing demonstrations and bush tucker tours.

AIB also has specific packages for registered Child Carers, kindergartens and day care centres and also for Beauty Therapists and Hairdressers which includes Day Spas and covers solarium usage amongst an extended list of treatment covers.
