eo Financial Services Pty Ltd (eo Financial Services) (ABN 57 103 181 844) (eo Financial Services, we or us) (ABN 53 000 013 276) provides services to Professional Associations Superannuation Limited (RSE Licence L0000352)(the Trustee), as trustee of the Professional Associations Superannuation Fund (the Fund) (RSE R1000429) of which Recruitment Super, Accountants Super and Australian Enterprise Super are divisions.
Our privacy obligations
eo Financial Services must comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (the Act) and the incorporated National Privacy Principles (NPPs) which regulate the appropriate collection, holding, use, correction, disclosure and transfer of personal information by private sector organisations.
eo Financial Services Pty Ltd and eo Pty Ltd
eo Financial Services has an agreement with eo Pty Ltd (eo Pty Ltd) (ABN 53 000 013 276) which holds an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL 232501) and provides financial services for Recruitment Super, Accountants Super and Australian Enterprise Super under its own licence and on behalf of the Trustee. eo financial services has an agreement with eo Pty Ltd under which eo Financial Services provides human and technical resources to eo Pty Ltd. eo Financial Services and eo Pty Ltd are related companies and so are permitted under the Act to share personal information with each other. However eo Financial Services and eo Pty Ltd are obliged to only collect and use information that is necessary for one of their functions or activities.
eo Financial Services and eo Pty Ltd collect personal information about members of the Fund on behalf of the Trustee.
Why we collect personal information
The primary purpose for eo Financial Services to collect personal information is to provide to the Trustee the following services: product development, secretarial, secretariat, management of regulatory compliance, general management, premises and monitoring of other third party service arrangements.
The primary purpose for eo Pty Ltd to collect personal information is to provide general advice services to members.
What happens if we do not collect personal information?
If a member does not provide us with their personal information the Trustee may not be able to administer, calculate and pay the member's benefits.
How we use, disclose and handle personal information
eo Pty Ltd or eo Financial Services may also disclose personal information about members or former members to third parties such as the Fund's insurer, actuary, medical consultants, professional advisers, mail houses and other external service providers who are contracted for the purpose of administering the Fund. eo Pty Ltd and eo Financial Services may also be required to provide information to government agencies such as the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority, Australian Taxation Office, Australian Securities & Investments Commission and Superannuation Complaints Tribunal where expressly required by law.
Otherwise, member information is only disclosed to the member or their authorised representative. A member has certain rights including the right to access and correct personal information and the right to complain about any breaches of the Act.
We dispose of personal information with care, either shredding it or sending it for recycling where it is treated as confidential.
Access to personal information

We retain the right to charge persons a reasonable fee to cover the cost of providing their personal information. Request for access will be answered within a month of receipt.
