HEALTHPOINT

Commonwealth Bank provides an EFTPOS facility incorporating an electronic payments system for the health industry called HealthPoint.

HealthPoint is a health payment processing solution that provides a simple and cost effective way to electronically lodge private health fund claims and EFTPOS transactions.

HealthPoint can accept gap payments via credit, debit and charge cards using the EFTPOS software built into the HealthPoint terminal.

Features and Benefits

• Electronic lodgement of claims through the HealthPoint terminal reduces paperwork and provides an improved service to health care providers through faster turnaround of claims and more efficient payments.
• The Health Claims function allows patients to make claims for ancillary services against their private health fund at the point of service.
